Volunteer
The Sierra Club is essentially a volunteer-run organization and volunteers currently take on many assignments and positions within the organization – all in their spare time.
Whether it’s leading hikes or outings, helping environmentally-conscious candidates become elected to public office, fighting to protect beautiful places, or promoting renewable energy, volunteers play an incredibly important role in the Sierra Club.
So if you want to make a difference, you need to get involved. If we’re going to change everything, we need everyone!

As a member, you’ll have opportunities to get involved with local chapters, as well as be part of the largest national network of environmental advocates.
